WDSF GrandSlam is the biggest possible Dance event in the World participated by the best dancers of our planet to compete in their dance mastery.
Over 1,500 dancers of all ages, children, junior, youth, adult and top professional dancers, from 35 different countries participate in Finland Open and their number is growing every year.

The Managing Committee of the World DanceSport Federation has selected Helsinki, Finland, as the new host city for the GrandSlam Series 2015-2017.

Exposure was excellent across all platforms used by WDSF Communications to report on the inaugural leg of the GrandSlam Series 2015. Considerable amounts of content were produced and put online to keep a global audience well informed about the Standard and Latin competitions that took place in Helsinki on 7 and 8 March. Video drives traffic more than any other type of content and the biggest audience by far is reached through YouTube.
Without any competitions taking place, the WDSF YouTube channel generates a fairly consistent average of 40,000 views per day.
Audience figures of more than twice the average were generated during the GrandSlam Helsinki, specifically between 6 and 11 March.
Nearly half a million video views were registered for the above period. The peak came on Tuesday 10 March, the day when the last batch of videos (Latin quarterfinal) was uploaded, with 110,000 views.
Viewing was – as always – very global and with Russia as the predominant territory. The demographics were in line with those that the channel registers during “normal operation.”

A great visibility at Yle TV is achieved during the evening Gala by means of presenting the advertisements on a big stage screen.
Floor banners, size 60x40 cm, established around the dance floor, roll-ups and interview banners give a great visibility for our partners during streaming of performances.
Along with TV streaming visibility is achieved in hundreds of videos produced and shown live and after the event, circulating in Youtube, Facebook, Vimeo.

Our main partners will be announced and highlighted during the oppening ceremony of the evening Gala.
Partners and sponsors will be advertised at the prize ceremonies during day time and evening Gala when the stage and the centre of the dance floor will have the full attention of the audience waiting for the winner announcements.

When the audience is eager to find out the final results and all eyes are watching, the host will give some information about the partner of the event. An official representative of the partner company may hand out the prizes.

The exclusive right to have the company name appear on the numbers of the competitors. Male competitors always wear the numbers (size A4) on their back during the performance on the dance floor. This is one of the best way to ensure a great visibility as it will be caught both by the audience and TV cameras. The amount of prints is negotiable and depends on the value of sponsorship starting from 100-1000 number card prints.
A boost point or advertising stand is established in the allocated area at the exhibition hall 4 of Messukeskus.

Every March of the year Helsinki becomes the capital of International DanceSport along with Wuhan, Hong Kong, Stuttgart, Moscow, Shanghai. These cities are the hosts of the biggest and most prestigious dance event of our planet - WDSF GrandSlam Series.
